The extrapolation of heat capacities presented in this form to high temperatures is not possible, or at the very least, problematic (Berman & Brown, 1985). Therefore Berman & Brown (1985) and Berman (1988) did a refit of the original calorimetric data using a modified form which can be extrapolated to high temperatures :

In a conservative approach, the original cp functions were used here in their validity range up to Tmax, with extrapolations only done using the form and the parameters proposed by Berman & Brown (1985).
